2025 Wrapped: Our First Year Exceeding Every Expectation

What a ride. When we launched TC Game, we hoped to build a shop that collectors could trust for authentic Japanese TCG offering friendly service, fast handling / shipping and "over-engineered" packaging. Looking back at 2025, we’ve completely exceeded our own expectations, and that is 100% down to the support of this community.

This year wasn't just about selling boxes; it was about the stories that came with them.

• We loved helping Nancy find that perfect variety for her grandson’s 12th Christmas.
• We appreciated the chat with Jet while tracking down those specific pieces for his sealed collection.
• And a huge shout-out to Hannah, who took a shipping mix-up between White Flare and Black Bolt in stride and ended up loving the pulls anyway!

Whether it was Thaddeus noticing the lack of "scratches or bumps" or Eoin highlighting the thrill of 100% authentic Japanese packs, your feedback has been the backbone of our first year.

The Year of Japanese TCG & Beyond

2025 brought some incredible sets to our shelves. We saw a massive response to the high-class quality of Japanese printing, which remains the gold standard for many of us.

• The Heavy Hitters: Sets like Black Bolt and Inferno X were huge favorites. We also saw a lot of love for the Terastal Festival ex (SV8a) boxes, which many of you noted arrived in "immaculate condition."
• The Big Pulls: One of our favorite moments was hearing from Jamie, who managed to pull the Team Rocket Mewtwo ex (Special Art Rare - SAR)!
• One Piece Arrival: It wasn't just Pokémon; our One Piece community showed up in force for sets like Awakening of the New Era (OP-05) and A Fist of Divine Speed (OP-11).
